This role is reserved for physical, occupational, or speech therapists.
• Your job is to ensure SAFETY during the transitions.
• In transition, please help participant teams locate their bikes/wheelchairs/walkers,
• Help transfer children on/off equipment, ensure seatbelts and harnesses are correctly fastened, and braces are donned correctly.
• Help keep this area organized.
• Make sure that each child is wearing a helmet prior to going to the bike course.
• Help direct teams in/out of the transition area by directing them out/in from the bike course and out onto the track for the run course.
• Make sure that each team goes through the safety check at the exit from transition area.
