Q: Can I still register?
Yes! Registration will remain open until the start of the event at 9 AM.
Q: What time does the race start?
- The 5K race will start at 9:00 am with waves releasing every 10 minutes to keep the course less congested
- Walkers will start in the last wave at 9:20 AM
- 1-Mile Fun Run at 8:30 am 100 Yard Dash at 10:30 am.
Q: Will the race be rained out?
All events will be held rain or shine.
Q: What is the course time limit?
The course limit for the 5K course is 90 minutes. The course limit for the 1-mile Fun Run is 30 minutes.
Q: Can my friends and family attend the event but not run?
Yes, spectators are welcome to attend the event and cheer on their runner or walker. All spectators must enter at the MetLife Gate. Tickets are not required, but all guests are subject to security search. Gates open at 8:00 AM. All spectators are welcome to participate in the post-race festival on the field.
Q: Is there an age minimum for the 5K run?
There is no age minimum for the 5K run. For younger participants, parents are encouraged to run with their child. For younger children, consider registering for the 1-Mile Fun Run (ages 7 & older) or the 100-yard dash (children ages 6 & under).
Q: What is the Giants Foundation 1-Mile Fun Run?
The Giants Foundation 1-Mile Fun Run is a 1-mile timed race for children ages 7 & older. While not required, parents and guardians wishing to run with their child must register with their child at time of registration to participate. Q: What is the Giants Foundation Kids Run?
The Giants Foundation Kids Run is a 100-yard untimed race across the field at MetLife Stadium following the conclusion of the Giants Foundation 5K race. Children will race in age groups, starting with the youngest. To learn more about the Kids 100-Yard Dash please see above or email giants5k@brrm.com.
Q: Where are the start line and finish line located?
The start line is near the northwest corner of Lot F near the flag poles. Look for the large start truss. Runners and walkers will load to the south of the starting truss according to your designated pace. The finish line is located in the Giant’s Endzone on MetLife Stadium field! Q: What is a virtual race?
Virtual races have become more and more common. Register for the virtual race and run your 5K anytime and anywhere. The virtual race gives you an opportunity to still participate in the event if you cannot make the race in person. Your swag (T-Shirt & Medal) will be shipped starting the week before the race. You can submit your times to the virtual results leaderboard between October 21 and November 1.
Q: Can I run in the 5K or 1-Mile Fun Run with a jogging stroller?
Yes, we do allow strollers on the course. For the safety of other runners, please start near the back of the pack.
Q: Where do I find race results?
Scan the QR code on the front of your bib after you finish to get race results or visit Giants.com/5K
Q: Are pets allowed?
No, only service animals are allowed on the course.
Q: Will there be a bag check?
There will not be a bag check and bags are not permitted inside MetLife Stadium. Click here to review the Bag Policy.
Q: When does registration for the Giants Foundation 5K open?
Online registration for the Giants Foundation 5K opens on July 1st and continues through October 26th.
Q: Where does a portion of my registration go?
A portion of the net proceeds from the Giants Foundation 5K will benefit the Giants Foundation. The New York Giants Foundation is committed to serving our community and enhancing the quality of life within the areas we live and work.

Q: Will there be post-race activities?
Yes, we will be hosting a post-race festival after the 5K including autographs from Giants Legends, music, activities for kids, and food and beverage items for purchase. All post-race activities are weather permitting.
Q: If I register for the race and unable to attend, will I still receive my t-shirt?
Any unclaimed shirts from missing participants will be available to ship by request on a first come, first served basis. To do so, please email giants5k@brrm.com.
Q: Where and when do we need to meet on race day?
All participants will receive an email by the week of the race with final instructions on what time and where to meet inside of MetLife Stadium to participate in the Kids Run. We will also update this site with that info closer to the race.
Q: What's included in the cost of the registration?
All participants will receive an event t-shirt, goody bag and a racing bib.
Q: Can a friend or family member pick up my race bib and t-shirt for me?
Yes, any friend or family member is allowed to attend packet pickup to pick up your race packet. They will need to share your name and date of birth.

Q: Can I switch to a virtual race after I have already registered?
Yes you can switch to the virtual event up until September 30th at Midnight. by signing into your runsignup.com account, select the Giants 5K and change to the virtual option. It will ask a few more questions i.e. verify shipping address to mail the packets.
Q: Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Yes, you can transfer your registration to another participant anytime before October 22nd at Midnight. There is a $10 fee to transfer your registration to another participant.
