Kewaskum's Premier and Only: Kayak, Bike, Run Triathlon.
This is a fun and friendly community event that supports the Kewaskum Way! The Kewaskum Way is our school incentive system which supports our students being professional, respectful, and safe!
No awards will be given as this is a family, school, community event. Participants can compete as an individual or on a team!
The race will be timed and participants/teams will be placed in Heats. Heats will start promptly at 9:00 am.
Kayak Course - 1.5 miles - All Participants must wear a life jacket
Kayak course starts on the Northeast end of Wildlife Dr (near the intersection of Wildlife and Reigle) and travels along the Milwaukee River where you will complete a down and back loop which will be approximately 1.5 miles in total distance. Start line and turnaround will be clearly marked.
Bike Course - 5 miles - All Participants must wear a helmet
Bike course starts on Wildlife Dr, travels northwest to Eisenbahn State Trail, travel North on Eisenbahn State Trail to Rustic Dr turnaround, travel back to Wildlife Dr bike corral.
Run Course - 2 miles
Run course starts on Wildlife Dr (south side of the road), travels northwest to the Eisenbahn State Trail, travel South on Eisenbahn State Trail all the way to Main St, travel East on Main St to Parkview Dr, travel north on Parkview Dr to 3rd St, travel West on 3rd St to Bilgo Ln, travel North on Bilgo Ln to 4th St, enter the Kewaskum High School Turf Stadium from 4th St to the Finish Line. (there will be plenty of volunteers directing you along the course)
Post Race -
There will be plenty of food and drink for recovery donated by local businesses!
