It doesn’t get much flatter than the paved Bugline Trail 🛣️. This fast, tree-lined route offers plenty of shade 🌳, with stretches that run alongside scenic quarry views. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or just enjoying the peaceful surroundings, the Bugline delivers a smooth and scenic run from start to finish.

On the half marathon course, you’ll cross train tracks at mile 3.75 🚂. Do not race the train—it’s much faster (and bigger) than you!

We’ll have timing mats on both sides of the tracks, so your results will stay accurate. Think of it as a quick break from the mosh pit 🎸 before jumping back in without penalty.

Aid Stations

The shirts are cotton unisex—just like the ones you wore to all those head-banging concerts! 🎸

Register before noon on Friday, September 12 to guarantee your custom race shirt. After that, shirts will be available online while supplies last. Any extras will be handed out after the race on a first-come, first-served basis.

PLEASE BRING YOUR RECEIPT WITH YOU!

You do not need to print it. We will need to scan the QR code on the receipt, though, so please have your email accessible on your mobile device or save a picture of your receipt with the QR code to your device’s image library.

We need volunteers for everything from aid station support to course marshals. If you or your group have an interest in volunteering, we would greatly appreciate the assistance. This race is chip timed by Silver Circle with a chip start. Your time will start when you cross the start line and stops when you cross the finish line. 

How to wear your bib.

Parking is available at the park, though parking at the start/finish line is very limited. You will likely need to park at another lot and walk to the start/finish area (see Park Map). There is no parking along the roads within the park.  

Do NOT park in the beach parking lot. You will get a ticket!

There is a $7.00 county park day pass or an annual pass required. Both the annual pass and daily pass must be purchased online BEFORE the event.  There is NO in person payment available.

We get it—life happens! That’s why we recommend purchasing event insurance during checkout.

The event will be held unless severe weather occurs. In the event of severe weather, the race director may delay or cancel the event. If the event is canceled, there will be no refunds. Silver Circle Sports Events has a NO REFUND policy.

How to transfer, defer, change shirt sizes and change distances

• Login into RunSignUp.com
• Select your Profile.
• Scroll down to the race you would like to modify.
• Select "Manage Registration".
• All of your options will be listed in the menu.
• *Deferrals must be completed 15 days prior to event.

Are you involved with a workplace wellness program? We’d love to help!

Here’s how it works:

• Contact us with your workplace information.
• We will create a code for your wellness members to use at registration checkout that will waive or discount the registration fee. You can offer any discount amount your workplace wellness program allows.
• The day after the race, we will send you an invoice that can be paid online.
