8 Mile & Half Marathon Run 🏃♀️🏃♂️
Discover the beauty of Lac La Belle 🌊 on this unforgettable 8-Mile and Half Marathon course. Starting at the Village Green in downtown Oconomowoc 🏞, runners head north along the picturesque isthmus between Fowler Lake and Lac La Belle. The course then winds west through the charming Village of Lac La Belle 🏡, tracing the shoreline before opening into peaceful countryside roads 🌳.
On the return, the route hugs the lake’s western edge, offering sweeping water views 🌅 all the way back to Wisconsin Avenue. The final stretch is a flat, fast push to the finish at City Beach 🏖—right on the shores of Lac La Belle.

The race starts at Village Green in Downtown Oconomowoc and finishes at City Beach.

You do not need to print it. We will need to scan the QR code on the receipt, though, so please have your email accessible on your mobile device or save a picture of your receipt with the QR code to your device’s image library.

Picking up more than one packet
If you are picking up for more than a couple people, please do the following:
1. Put all of their QR codes on one sheet of paper OR
2. Write all of their names on one sheet of paper (last name, first name, tshirt).
That will make your life a whole lot easier when you go to hand out the info to your team.

What is rucking?
Rucking is a physical activity that involves walking or hiking with a weighted backpack (called a rucksack). The term comes from the military, where soldiers train and operate carrying heavy loads over long distances. In civilian fitness and recreation, rucking is gaining popularity as a versatile and low-impact workout.

Although the Ruck Divisions are timed, it’s not competitive, and there are no age group awards. However, ruckers will still receive a finisher woodle!
Walkers Welcome
Walkers and families are welcome to participate! We ask that all walkers stay to the right of the road so runners can pass on the left.
T-shirts
The shirts are gender specific dry wik and those registered by noon, August 14th, are guaranteed a custom race shirt. After that, shirts be available while on line supplies last. Any extra shirts will be distributed after the race on a first come first serve basis.
Average Joe & Jane Awards
The Average Joe & Jane Awards are back for the Chilly Willy Winter Run Series 5K Runs and are presented to the male and female runner who finished in the exact middle of all runners. Winners will receive a t-shirt and custom medal, must be present to win!

How to Transfer, Defer, Change Shirt Size, or Change Distances
Follow these steps to make changes to your race registration:
- Go to RunSignUp.com and log in to your account.
- Select your Profile.
- Scroll down to the race you wish to modify.
- Click on "Manage Registration".
- Choose from the available options in the menu, including:
- Transfers (to another participant or race)
- Change Shirt Size
- Modify Team
- Change Distances
- Resend Confirmation/QR Code
- Deferrals

Aid Stations
There will be 2 aid stations on course. One will be at Oconomowoc Parkway and the trail where all runners ruckers will pass by twice. The second one will be at Silver Cedar and the trail where 10K runners /ruckers will pass twice. There will also be an aid station at the finish line. All aid stations will have water and Gatorade.
