Registered runners, ages 21 and older, will receive (1) complimentary alcoholic beverage at the beverage tent. Please bring an I.D. with proof of age as well as your race bib.

Medals will be awarded to all registered runners and walkers who complete the 5K at the Finish Line. Prizes will be given to the 1st place male and female finishers in the following age categories:

PRE-RACE FACE PAINTING

Please note that the pre-race face painting is available option is only open to registered runners and walkers who show their race bibs, on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the number of participants runners and the limited time before the start of the race available, there will be only a limited number of spots will be limited available. We recommend arriving early or coming prepared in full gear or /costume prior to the race.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What if I can’t run/walk the race? Can I get a refund?
Entry fees are non-refundable. This means once we have received your entry has been received, refunds are not available , you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are not allowed on the race course, but they are welcome allowed at the Post- Event Celebration.
Are strollers allowed?
Yes, strollers are allowed on the course.
Can I walk the race?
Yes, all paces are welcome, there are no time limits for finishing. However, please note that race support services (e.g., water stations, mile markers, and course staff) will conclude at 9:20 a.m. Participants still on the course after that time may continue at their own pace but should be prepared for limited on-course support.
Do I need to be registered for the race to participate in the Post Event Celebration?
No, everyone is invited to join the celebration and enjoy the post-race festivities.
Will there be a gear check-in?
No, the race start and finish areas are close to the main parking lot, making it easy to store your belongings in your vehicle.
PHOTO / VIDEO
Photos and video of the Day of the Dead 5k will be taken at the event and will be used by WPD for marketing materials, including electronic, print, video and audio channels and online.
