Race Timing
Athletes will be chip timed by Nonstop Race Management. An ankle timing chip and a number bib will be given to you at packet pickup with instruction on how to wear them. You will also have your number marked on your arm and calf by a volunteer. Your ankle timing chip will be worn through all events: swim, bike, and run. No time will be recorded without a chip. Your number bib should be worn during the run portion.
Parking
Athletes and spectators may park in the YMCA parking lot (520 W 5th St), at the wellness park or along the side streets. Please do no park along N D Ave east of the YMCA.
Facilities
Athletes may use the restrooms and locker rooms at the YMCA before and after the race as needed.
Spectators
Spectators may watch their athletes along the route.
The swim portion may be watched from the bleachers inside the indoor aquatic center.
Spectating sites along the trail for the bike route (marked with yellow stars on the map below):
- W 5th street trail parking lot
- Kiwi Ave (dirt road) trail crossing
- Juniper Ave trail crossing
- Ivy Ave trail crossing
Spectators may watch from anywhere along the run route. Please do not drive along the run route, there is a parking lot (sesquicenntennial park) at the Kewash trail head located on N H Ave that you can park at to give you easy access to the run route (marked with a yellow star on the map below).
Race Rules
- Helmets must be worn on the bike portion. Riders must have their helmets properly buckled before entering the bike course.
- Proper swim attire must be worn for the swim portion of the race.
- Race bibs need to be clearly visible during the run portion.
- No headphones, headsets or personal audio devices will be worn or carried at any time during the race.
- Athletes must follow the prescribed course; anyone cutting or going outside of the course will be violating race rules.
- A parent/guardian must be with participants under 18 at all times on Y property.
- Unsafe, foul, inappropriate behavior or unsportsmanlike conduct is not allowed and any violators will be asked to leave the race and Y property.
- Volunteers will be out on the course to direct you, please follow their instructions.
- We will race rain or shine! In the event of severe weather the race crew will communicate with atheltes any race delays or cancellations.
