Teal Diva 5k for Gynecologic Cancers

As many of you know, my sister-in-law Deidre was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2023. For nearly two years, she has bravely battled this devastating disease—one that often strikes without warning and with unforgiving force. Deidre is a true warrior, facing each day with incredible strength and resilience. I continue to be inspired by her courage.

On May 3, 2025, Deidre will be walking in the Teal Diva 5K, leading a team of loved ones and supporters. I’m proud to join her—along with family, friends, and hundreds of community members—as we raise our voices and funds to fight gynecologic cancers.

In 2025, it is estimated that over 114,810 women will be diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer and over 34,200 will die as a result of the diseases. We can all make a difference in the fight against gynecologic cancers.
