Be sure to check out the 2026 Swimmer Guide, located at www.BaySwim.com for all of your timelines and information.

Current water temperatures are in the mid 70s with this bit of heat that we are currently experiencing, but as we get closer, we will give more regular weather and water updates.

4.4 Mile Swim Points of Interest

A few key points for the 4.4 Mile Swim

There will be NO SPECTATORS allowed in the Sandy Point State Park on race morning. There is NO ACCESS to the park before they open at 7am
We require that all SWIMMERS take the shuttles from Kent Island High School (900 Love Point Road, Stevensville), starting at 430am.
LAST SHUTTLE LEAVES AT 545am for the 4.4 Mile

You can change from Wetsuit to Non-wetsuit at the time of check-in, so no worries if you chose a different event

There are no deferrals and no refunds at this point. If you did not purchase the race insurance when registering for the event, unfortunately there is little recourse for you this year. We hope that if you join us in 2027 that you consider that option (insurance) as this is a service that we offer to alleviate any issues with last minute medical/family emergencies.
You MAY move from the 4.4 mile swim to the 1 mile swim, at no cost. Please let us know if you are exercising that option by email info@BaySwim.com

START TIME IS 645am for the swim!! We will put swimmers in the water, through their appropriate start lines, 10 at a time every 20-30 seconds.

Your swim cap will be GREEN. You may wear a different one under our green, but we ask that you wear our cap for identification. Should you need some extra assistance, or just want our safety team to know to keep a "closer" eye on you, you may select the RED swim cap.
