What is Coaches United Wellness?

We are a small team of coaches who are dedicated to supporting our fellow coaches! We know what it’s like to work hard to support others while going through your own life journey. You deserve support for your well-being so you can create the strong, resilient foundation that will allow you to be the best coach possible. We’re here to help you do that. 

What is CUW’s mission?
To foster well-being across coaching and wellness organizations around the world using movement as the catalyst.


What is a CUW challenge?
CUW is 4 events in 1. It's also the first multi-dimensional challenge designed for coaches by coaches

A CUW challenge takes place over 10 days early each month and consists of:

1- One movement challenge: your choice of movement and how much time - adjust your own goal

2- Three Well-Being Talks: We focus on one of the 8 dimensions of well-being each month, and the talks will relate to that dimension. Each talk will be a combination of information and action; speakers will ensure that you have concrete tools and resources to apply in your own well-being journey. 

3- A supportive community to cheer you on! 

Who is this challenge for ?

Although this challenge is initially designed for coaches and anyone who is in a clinical or similar position that focuses on taking care of other people, the challenge is focused on the participant's wellbeing, not on specifics of how to coach. If you're interested in working on your own wellbeing, feel free to join in! 

What category of  “coaches” is the challenge and talks designed for?

Since the talks are on wellbeing topics, there is no specific category of coaches the challenge is designed for. If you're a coach (or other clinician) who feels like your wellbeing would benefit from a little focused attention, you're welcome to join us!

What are the rewards for completing one/all events? 

For the Movement Challenge component:

Milestone 1: Virtual Badge CONSISTENT after 3 consecutive days of logging
Milestone 2: Virtual Badge RESILIENT after 6 consecutive days of logging
Milestone 3: Virtual Badge GRIT after all 10 days consecutive of logging!

For the Wellbeing Talks component:

Milestones for Talk #1, Talk #2, Talk #3 after a minimum of 45 mins and a maximum of 60 mins activity is logged

For ALL events completed:
Real finisher medal (starting November 2022)

Is there any additional merchandise for purchase?
(available starting November 2022) performance top, cotton T-Shirt, headband, shorts

What is the objective of a CUW challenge?
The objective of a challenge is to support your growth in multiple dimensions of well-being

How can I sign up to a CUW?
You can sign up by clicking here

Can I sign up for only one or few of the monthly challenges?
Yes! You can sign up for an individual month, pick and choose the months you’re interested in, or sign up for the entire 8 month challenge and receive a discount. 

Can I sign up to only one wellbeing talk? 
No, all three talks are included in the enrollment and all participants are enrolled automatically in the talks. Please note that if you can’t make it to the live event (recommended) we do record and it will be available for to you to listen (a minimum of 45-minute attendance is required in order to consider event completed. Completing the whole challenge requires you means to complete completing both the movement aspect and all three talks. 

When is the next CUW event?
We hold events every month, starting the first Friday of the month for 10 days (2 weekends and 1 business week). Here are the starting dates and dimension for all 8 events following the October start: 

November 4: Physical Well-Being

December 2: Environmental Well-Being

January 6: Emotional Well-Being

February 3: Financial Well-Being

March 3: Social Well-Being

April 7: Spiritual Well-Being

May 5: Occupational Well-Being

June 2: Intellectual Well-Being 

What are the Free October 2022 CUW event dates and times?
Registration of the first FREE and next event is between September 23, 6am EST and October 6, 11:59 pm EST
Registration for the October 2022 CUW will automatically enroll all participants to one movement challenge and three wellbeing talksSubmission of movement activity will start on Friday October 7, and will end on Monday October 17
Submission of attendance to wellbeing talks will start on the day and time the talk goes live, until the last Friday of the month to allow participants who can’t attend to watch it and participate in the workshop activity. 
The challenge will be officially over on the last Friday of the current challenge month (11:59pm EST)

How can I have my company pay for me to take part in the series? 
Most company have a wellness or fitness budget you can leverage to participate in this initiative. We are also talking with a number of companies to get their official endorsement. On that note, if you can provide a warm introduction (and testimonial once you’ve experienced a challenge) to the decision-maker at your company who can say yes, we are happy to take it from there.
