Relays and Team Information

Teamwork makes the dream work!

Teams make sports more fun! Grab your training partners and create a team. You won't get anything special for it besides bragging rights but you'll have the camaraderie that team training builds! You have two types to choose from:

Relay teams:
You don't have to do this alone! Grab a friend or two and share the three legs of the DB Triathlon. You will all get the same great stuff and be eligible for relay team awards. A relay team consists of two or three team members each completing one (or two) of the three legs of the race. If this is your team of choice be sure to click on Sprint or Olympic Relay Team during registration. The first team member will pay the fee, other team members will register without a fee but owe the team captain some coin.

Or build a large team of individual triathletes:
Build your team to at least 5 and each participant will receive a $5 discount on the current registration price. The first four will receive a $5 credit when the 5th member registers. Only individual participants are eligible for teams.

Team Options Include:

School Teams - On your College or High School team? Recruit them from an early season test on a flat and fast course!

First Responders - we know our first responders work hard and we also think they should play hard! Get the team together, train together and race together!

Social Clubs - You know who you are, you run with your friends for the chat time. It's the time you process your thoughts and solve the world's problems. The only difference now is you have a goal event on the calendar! Get those friends together to crush that goal!

Be sure to create your team during the registration process by clicking on the blue 'Team' box to the right of your distance choice. Remind all other team members to click the team box and choose your team name to join.
