Description:
These training plans are designed to build your fitness progressively so you can cross the finish line feeling strong and confident. Beginner athletes should aim for at least 4 workouts per week, along with 1-2 strength sessions. Intermediate athletes should plan for a minimum of 5 workouts per week, plus 1-2 strength sessions. Both plans are tailored for sprint-distance races but include clear instructions to scale up to Olympic distance if you’re ready to go farther.
Key notes:
- Use the RPE chart to hit the right intensities.
- Workouts auto-sync with Garmin, Coros, and other devices via TrainingPeaks.
- Mobility sessions are included with easy follow along videos 2x a week.
Coach Patty -
Patty Pittman holds a USAT Level 2 certification, the only coach in Arkansas to hold this advanced credential, alongside certifications from UESCA and NASM, and a BS in Kinesiology. A 3x Ironman finisher with 20+ years of coaching experience, she developed the DeGray Lake Triathlon training plans around the physiological demands of each race distance, giving athletes the sport-specific fitness, strength, and tools they need to perform on race day at this beautiful location.
