21st Annual HEAT Kids Triathlon

The race starts and finishes at the Sumner County YMCA at 102 Bluegrass Commons Blvd in Hendersonville, TN. The Swim will be in the YMCA's outdoor 25 yard pool. The Bike route winds through a beautiful nearby residential neighborhood. The Run route for the 6-10 year age group passes through a nearby church parking lot whereas the 11-15 year athletes will run through a nearby residential neighborhood. Race routes are well staffed with experienced volunteers to keep athletes safe. Please note that the bike course has hills and turns, so please ensure your athlete has the appropriate bike handling skills. We will also be offering a pre-race training clinic to preview the course (information will be provided closer to the time). 

Friday night packet pickup is at the YMCA in Hendersonville, TN 37075. Friday night packet pickup is STRONGLY recommended to make Saturday morning easier on your athlete. Packet pickup on Friday August 8th will be from 4:30pm - 6:30pm CT. We will also offer a race morning packet pickup at the race location starting at 5:30am to 6:00am.

On race day, please plan to arrive at the Sumner County YMCA by 5:30am to allow enough time for Timing chip pick-up/Body Marking and transition set-up. Race time is 7:00am, but transition closes at 6:15am. Only official course volunteers are permitted in transition and on the course during the race.
