Grant County Tri cancelled due to Covid-19
Due to the covid-19 global pandemic and recommendations on safe returns to large gathering events, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the July 18 race. Races across the globe have been canceling or postponing for months now and we had held out hope that the situation would improve and become more clear allowing us to race this summer, but unfortunately that will not be possible. We are truly sorry for not getting the opportunity to produce this race for you this year, but we are looking forward to coming back in full force in 2021. Mark your calendar for July 17, 2021! (2020 registered participants - an email has been sent out with more information)

Description
The Grant County Triathlon, presented by the Grant County Tourist & Convention Commission, launched in 2018 to rave reviews on the course, the picturesque country setting with quaint downtown finish line, and amazing community support. Swim in the gorgeous Williamstown Lake, ride through the country roads of Grant County, and run through historic downtown Williamstown to a finish line party you won’t want to miss! The Grant County Triathlon offers Sprint and Intermediate distance options and is an ideal race for both experienced triathletes and beginners alike.
In addition to the adult race, there will also be a Kids Duathlon featuring a 2.25k run, 5k bike, 1k run route. The Kids Duathlon will start as soon as the last adult racer is off the bike course (approx 10:45 am).
