The Kid’s Fun Run includes a custom bib and kid-friendly medal but does not include a shirt.
As a USATF sanctioned event, we may not permit animals to participate unless they are designated as a service animal.
The Kid’s Fun Run is designed for children 13 and under.
For the Half Marathon, participants must be 14 years or older on race day.
There is no minimum age for the 5K or 10K. We simply recommend that younger participants are comfortable with the distance and, if needed, run alongside a parent or guardian.

Divisions
Tiny Trotters (Ages 2 and Under): 50 yards; A short dash to get the wiggles out. Parent/guardian participation encouraged!
Little Sprinters (Ages 3-5): 100 yards; Enough for some giggles and a proud finish line moment.
Fast Starters (Ages 6-8): 200 yards; A fun challenges that still feels achievable.
Speed Racers (Ages 9-12): 300 yards; a full out race with space to fly, but still within safe cheering distance
5K - 1 Hour 30 minutes
10K - 2 Hours
Half Marathon - 3 Hours 15 Minutes
Yes. Participants can transfer their registration to a different race distance through RunSignup.
If the event you transfer to has a higher registration fee, you will simply pay the difference.
Transfers can be managed from your RunSignup profile under “Manage Registration."
Yes. You can transfer your registration to another runner through RunSignup.
To do this, log in to your RunSignup profile, select Manage Registration, and follow the transfer options.
Yes. Participants may defer their registration to next year if they are unable to attend this year’s event.
Deferrals can be managed through your RunSignup profile under “Manage Registration.”

Free parking is available in the Dunbar Street Parking Garage (178 Dunbar St. Spartanburg, SC 29306) and the Kennedy Street Garage (120 E Kennedy St, Spartanburg, SC 29306)
Restrooms are available inside Fr8yard while porta-potties are available on Broad Street.
Yes. All race courses for Love Where You Live are USATF certified.
This means each course has been professionally measured and verified for accuracy according to USA Track & Field standards.
Certified courses ensure that race distances are accurate for personal records and official results.
Wildly Charged Hydration will be available at four water stops along the course
5K runners will find the water stop near mile 1.5
10K Runners will find the water stops near miles 3 and 4.5
Half Marathoners will find water stops near mile 3, 6.5, 9.5 and 11.5
Gear Check is available for Half Marathoners only.
