Join the free 10KMiles.10KTrees REACH GREEN Virtual Challenge starting October 1.
It’s simple: run, walk, ride, swim, however you move in miles, and log your activity on our RunSignUp challenge page. After you register, go to your dashboard, select "My Registered Races", select "10K Miles. 10K Trees REACH GREEN Virtual Challenge", and click "Submit Virtual Results" to enter your miles.
For every mile you record, a tree will be planted on your behalf through our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation. Our first project together is longleaf pine reforestation in North Carolina, where only 3% of the historic ecosystem remains. Your miles help restore these critical forests and build healthier communities.
Registration is free, and everyone is welcome. To make an even bigger impact, donations and fundraising are encouraged. You can give personally, ask friends and family to support your journey, or form a team to fundraise together. Funds raised support Arbor Day Foundation reforestation projects that restore and protect places and communities where the need is greatest.
“Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.” – Warren Buffett

Why Our Virtual Challenge Matters Your miles don’t just move you forward, they support vital green spaces, strengthen communities, and foster a healthier, more climate-resilient future. The more we move, the more trees we plant. It’s that simple and it starts with YOU.
