We are back to having a Live Triathlon
Long considered the east end season opener would be celebrating its 41st anniversary this year. The race consists of a 1 mile swim, 20 mile bike and 6.2 miles run.

Original Mighty Montauk course
SWIM - The distance is 1 mile in the calm salt water of Lake Montauk. The course is out and back. Since this race is in the spring, wet suits are recommended (water temperature is normally around 55 degrees Fahrenheit).
BIKE - The distance is 20 miles taking you along Montauk historical routes; giving you a bird's eye view of the famous Montauk Lighthouse. The course is out and back with some hills. Hardshell helmets (ANSE approved) and bar end plugs are mandatory. This race adheres to USAT policy of NO DRAFTING.
RUN - The distance is 6.2 miles through the scenic side of Montauk challenging hills . NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES ON THE COURSE (ex: iPods, MP3 players etc). except Smartphones. No water stops on the bike course. However, water stops are at one mile intervals on the run course.
The New Sprint Triathlon Course

All registrations are final. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS OF REGISTRATION FEES. (Please consider taking out race insurance)
Packet Pickup
June 9th 2023 from 10.00am to 10.00pm
at the Harborside Motel, 371 West Lake Drive, Montauk NY 11954.
Participants must be present with photo ID to collect race packet. NO EXCEPTIONS. Non USAT members must pay $15.00 for one day membership. The race is on rain or shine.
Day of Race packet pick up is available for a $10.00 service charge (cash only)
