Welcome to the Stissing Triathlon in Pine Plains, New York. 2 hours north of NYC and halfway between the Hudson River and the New York/Connecticut border. You will find plenty of rolling hills and serene landscapes tucked into this historical small town.
Sprint Triathlon & AquaBike:
750 meter swim; 12.6 mile hilly bike, 3.3 mile fast run.
There are no relay team entries for the AquaBike. Paratriathletes are welcome.
THERE ARE NO CUT-OFF TIMES!
A counter-clockwise 750m triangle in the calm waters of Stissing Lake.
Wetsuits are legal but not mandatory.
You are welcome to wear a personal swim buoy if you are more comfortable. We would ask that you start at the back of the pack so as to not interfere with other swimmers.
This hilly, winding course will make you wish you had time to stop and take in the views. Markings on the pavement at each turn as well as lots of signs and helpful volunteers will take you on a 12.6 mile hilly ride.

There are no aid stations on the bike course. There is one located inside of transition before you head out on the bike and run.
Complete your race with a 3.3 mile loop around the lake. Fast course on paved, quiet roads.
Fully stocked aid stations at every mile marker on the course with gels and water.

This race is a USAT sanctioned event. Participants must be current USAT members or purchase a one-day membership for $15 during registration.
A portion of your registration fee will be donated to the Pine Plains Recreation Program

Saturday - 12p - 8pm - Packet Pickup at race site (not mandatory). Bike drop-off is available with overnight security provided.
Parking will be at the race site and very close to the transition area.
Sunday - 8:00am - Sprint Triathlon (Individuals and Relay Teams) & AquaBike

Triathlon - Top 3 Overall Male and Female; M/F 5 year age groups 19&U - 80+
Paratriathletes - Top 3 Overall Male and Female
AquaBike - Top 3 Overall Male and Female
Relay Teams - Top 3 Overall
POST RACE:
Race T-shirts (only guaranteed for those registered prior to June 1)
Finisher medals
Beer Garden supplied by Southern Tier Brewing Company (must be 21 years of age)
Post-race picnic food provided by Wilson Endurance Sports
Sprint Triathlon can be entered as a relay team of 2 or 3 individuals.
No relay team is offered for AquaBike.
Individuals registering for a relay team will complete:
Relay teams only compete against other relay teams. Teams can be made up of any gender and/or age.
We award Top 3 Relay Teams.
All members of the relay team will receive the race giveaways, the finisher medal, and all post-race food and beverages (Beer Garden only for those 21 and older).
RELAY TEAM RATES are per person and are as follows:
11/5- 5/4/2023 = $70
5/5 - 6/18 = $80
6/19 - 6/23 = $90

VOLUNTEERS: We love and appreciate all of our volunteers. If you have someone that is coming with you to the event we ask that they look over our volunteer list and choose a task and time that would work for them. When volunteers register early they will receive a race day t-shirt. They will also receive FREE food as well as entry into the STBC Beer Garden.

We will be following protocols established by the State of New York and will adhere to whatever the State and County require us to do as of race date 2023.
