SWIM, BIKE, RUN = FINISH LINE

Sprint Triathlon

Our 2027 return to triathlon compettions in the New Orleans area begins with our Sprint Triathlon event.  Starting at 7:00am, the Sprint is comprised of a 8 lap 400 meter pool swim from the LSU New Orleans Aquatic Center located at 6801 Franklin Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana 70122.  Following the swim portion of the event, athletes will make the short carpeted jog to the transition area to begin the double loop 21 mile bike course along the New Orleans Lakefront.

Once back into the transition area, athletes will switch from bike to run by racking their bike back in the designated spot where they checked in their bike on Saturday.  Athletes will begin the 4 mile run for the Sprint Triathlon which will take them on streets around the LSU Aquatic Center and the Lakefront Levee System before that wrap up and head into the LSU Lakefront Arena for our new Fantastic Finish Celebration!

Super Sprint Relay

Atheletes in the Super Sprint Relay will have their bikes located in the relay pen inside of the transition area.  Relay members doing each leg of the event while not on the field of play, must stay close to this area at all times as the competition takes place.   Relay teams are made up of either 2 or 3 members per team.  Post event awards are given out to Top 3 Male Relay Teams, Top 3 Female Relay Teams and Top 3 Mixed Relay Teams.  Sprint Awards are taking place at 10:00am inside the LSU New Orleans Lakefront Arena!
