NO - Registration closes on Tuesday night at 11:59PM and the field of athletes participating in the event is set. This provides the adequate time for our volunteer team needs to focus on the key tasks necessary to host over 400 athletes.
There are 3 opportunities for packet pickup and we highly encourage you to do this before prior to race day.
- Thu 8/20 (4pm-6pm) @ Towpath Bike
- Fri 8/21 (12-6pm) @ Durand Eastman Beach
- Sat 8/22 (5:30am-7:00am) @ Durand Eastman Beach

Deferred Registrations:
- All requests to defer registration to the next year must be submitted no later than 30 days prior to the race
- Registrations are allowed to be deferred 1 time only!
YES - Our permits are only valid on Saturday's race morning from 7:30am-11:00am for the road closures in the Durand Eastman Beach area. In the highly unlikely event an athlete has not begun their last lap by 10:30am, we respectfully ask them to re-enter transition and begin the run course.
NO - The ROC is a USAT-sanctioned event where athletes may qualify for the National Championships, each athlete must be present with appropriate ID for their own packet-pickup. No exceptions.
YES - We will have an amful amount of porta-potties available for athletes and guests at all key areas of the event (finish line, transition, etc..).
- Shirts - Yes and are distributed to the athletes at packet-pickup. Only those registered by July 1st can we guarantee their shirt size otherwise the athlete must wait until after the race to exchange.
- Medals - Yes and are awarded at the finish line after completion of their respective race.
- Awards - Yes if qualified. These are presented at the post-race ceremony to those who qualified that remained in attendance. Special arrangements may be made for those unable to attend to pickup their award or have it shipped to cover the additional expenses.
Parking is Free and widely available along Durand Eastman Beach with plenty of lots to choose from but keep in mind that we do close Lakeshore Blvd. to all traffic from 7:30am-11am for the safety of the athletes. If you need to leave during this time, we recommend parking across the street by the Kings Highway entrance to Durand (opposite of transition area).
NO - This is a direct violation USAT rules and safety protocols. Signs are posted at multiple locations addressing "No headphones or earbuds". Athletes found wearing any non-medical devices in the ears will be removed from the course and disqualified from the race.
YES - we have 2 locations at the appropriate locations on the run course with the opportunity for multiple visits during the race.
YES - We provide a secured location inside of the transition area for athletes-only to leave personal items. However, we do encourage athletes to leave any unecessary valuables in their vehicles.
