The 5k will have a time limit of 1:30 (about a 29 min/mile pace). The 10k will have a time limit of 2 hours (19:19 min/mile pace). The 2 hour time limit will be enforced to beat the earlier fall sunset. If a 10ker comes through the first lap (5k) after the 1 hour mark, they will be not be permitted to go out for the 2nd lap as a part of the race. They will be switched in the results file to the 5k.

The Kids 1K Fun Run has a 30 minute limit (50 min/mile pace) to ensure everyone is back by the start of the 5k/10k.

In order to protect the park, we will not have a water station out on the course. A water station will be available at the Start/Finish. 10kers will come past the start/finish when completeing their first 5k lap. Participants may carry water with a vest/camelback/hand bottle. Please do not throw any trash (plastic water bottles, gel packets, etc.) out on the trails. 

From the parking lot of Echo Hollow Nature Park, head towards the park and take an immediate right near the Echo Hollow bench (you'll know it when you see it!). Water & snacks will be at the main shelter house.

Advance packet pickup will be held at the Richard A. Carlucci Center on Friday November 6 from 5:00-7:00pm. Pick up early to avoid waiting in line on race day!

On race day, packet pickup will be held prior to the race start from 3:00-4:00pm at Echo Hollow Nature Park. It will be set up near the start/finish line. Take an immediate right near the Echo Hollow bench (you'll know it when you see it!) towards the park's shelter house.

We will not have a gear check. The parking lot is just steps away from the start/finish, plan to lock up any valuables while out on the course.

There is restroom building near the parking lot, which is very close to the start/finish line. Plan to use that before/after the race. There will not be bathrooms out on the trails. 10kers will come back around near the restrooms after their first lap, they may detour a bit off course to use the restrooms if needed and then hop back on course to complete their second lap.

All registration will be online. Registration will be open all the way up until the start of the race, so yes, you may register yourself from your phone on race day. 

Yes. The Kids 1K Run Run will be for kids 10 and under.

All registrations include a shirt. Participants will also be given an option to skip the shirt and save $5.

Limited shirts will be available after the shirt order has been placed (about 2 weeks prior to the race). If the shirts sell out prior to the race, you will be able to skip the shirt and will have the $5 off your registration fee.
