We are looking for volunteers to help with road closures, hand out medals, and cheer on our participants. Volunteering is a great way to support the H.E.R.O Run mission without breaking a sweat! Each task is fun and easy, so bring your friends and family. It's an early morning event, so we'll need every volunteer on-site by 7:00am on June 1.
Change in Volunteer Staging Location! Plan to meet at the Denny Crum Hall, 2403 S. Floyd St, to receive your assignment. If your assignment is out on the course, you will then need to drive to your assigned location and be in place by 7:30am. If your assignment is at or near Cardinal Track Stadium, you may park in the Floyd Street Garage across from the track and walk to your spot.
Please bring a camping chair or something comfortable if you want to sit, SUNSCREEN, something to drink, and maybe a snack; you might be at your post for a couple of hours. Please make sure that we have your cell number in case we need to reach you before or during the race.
