$1,100

Raised of $2,500

I was diagnosed with epilepsy 48 years ago when I was just 2 years old. My seizures were mostly controlled with medications during childhood, but they returned in 1999 when I was 25. For two decades (1999-2019), my family and I lived with the constant uncertainty of uncontrolled epilepsy, multiple seizures per month and never knowing when, where or how the next seizure would disrupt our lives. I’m grateful to be seizure‑free after successful brain surgery in 2019, but many others are still fighting this battle every day. I’m raising funds and awareness for the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego to support people living with epilepsy who depend on community, resources, and connection. Any amount helps 💜 Your support—whether by joining our team and/or making a donation—truly means a lot. If you join my team, you can walk with us on April 26th at Crown Point in San Diego 🙂. Thank you for standing with our epilepsy community. 💜

Welcome to My Sharon's Ride.Run.Walk. San Diego Fundraising Page!

Sharon's Ride.Run.Walk San Diego is a 15-mile Bike Ride or 5K Run/Walk that is very important to me.  I am raising money to help The Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County so they can provide wraparound support services and programs at no cost to individuals and families affected by epilepsy.  Please help me support this cause and spread awareness for epilepsy.
