This is Turnagain Training's Wednesday 6:30-8pm & Sunday 7-9am triathlon training program open to all kids ages 12yrs old through adults. Kids under 17 must have some experience with biking & running and looking to be competitive in the sport. If you are unsure if this is a good fit for your child, email Coach Heather, Heather@Turnagaintraining.com. Everyone is required to have a USA Triathlon license that is valid through the end of the training session. Please bring your USAT license to the first practice. Everyone is welcome to come and try out 1 session for free, but a USAT license is required (Kids 17 & under, $10/yr; Adults $15/1day license OR $50/yr license, Coach Heather will always have a paper application with her, if needed).
Wednesday will begin January 8th through March 4th. This session will go 9weeks, 90min sessions from 6:30-8pm at The Dome; $140, pro-rated option available is athletes that start session late. This is a 90min bike on trainers & run on track speed focused sessions. Athletes are responsible for paying for the workout session AND The Dome entry fee (day pass or membership options available). All athletes must have a safe, working bike & trainer (helmets not required on trainers). Clip-in pedals is strongly encouraged. Running shoes with elastics are also strongly encouraged. Bike trainers with risers & travel bags are available for rent for the entire session for $20. Please let Coach Heather know if you need to borrow one.
Sunday will begin January 26th through March 15th. This session will go 7weeks, 2hr sessions from 7-9am at The Dome; $140, pro-rated option available is athletes that start session late. This is a 90min bike workout on the track, followed by 30min brick workout (biking on track, running on turf) sessions. Athletes are responsible for paying for the bike session AND The Dome entry fee (day pass or membership options available). All athletes must have safe, working bikes & helmets. Clip-in pedals is strongly encouraged. Running shoes with elastics are also strongly encouraged. Bike stands are not necessary but welcome if you prefer to transition with one verse using the wall. **NOTE - There is NO Sunday practice on February 23rd, but join us for the Indoor Triathlon at The Alaska Club West!
