Open Water Swimming & Trail Running - Wednesday's 6-7:30pm (5 sessions)
This is a 5wk swim/run program hosting by Coach Heather Helzer. This is open to our youth triathlon team plus any adults interested in joining! We will open water swim 60minutes followed by a running workout around the lake on trails. Coach Heather will be on a stand-up paddle board, along with placing yellow swim buoys in the water used for spotting during the workout. Athletes must be comfortable swimming in open water in order to join this program. This program is meant for triathletes looking to advanced their skills in open water swimming with coaching support, but can be new to the experience, but must be strong swimmers. Wetsuits will be available to youth triathletes first, all remaining extras adults will be welcome to but it is youth preference first. Wetsuits are HIGHLY encouraged initially (temp is currently 60, June 11th).
