Course markings
  • Swim: clearly marked start & finish, with swim buoys in the water for turns
  • Run & Bike: clearly marked courses
  • Transition: clearly marked area to follow from the swim to transition, in/out areas, and marked mount & dismount areas.

Swim Course

The swim will start west of the stair access to the Noshery and finish at the Huntington Beach Paddling Access.
Participants are allowed to have shoes at the swim exit, as long as they do not impede the forward momentum of athletes, staff, volunteers, and medical personnel.

Bike Course

Bike course details
  • Right Turn right onto Wolf Road, CR 125
  • Right Turn right onto Bradley Road, CR 214
  • Left Turn left onto Walker Road, CR 213
  • Right Turn right onto Lear Road
  • Left Turn left onto Electric Boulevard
  • Right Turn right onto Curtis Dr
  • Right Turn right onto Lake Rd
  • Right Turn into Huntington Reservation to Transition
This bike course is open to traffic and utilizes the bike lanes in several sections. Police and volunteers will be located throughout the course to ensure the safety of participants.

Run Course

Run course details
  • Left Turn left onto All Purpose Trail, Stay left on the path
  • Left Turn left onto Park Lane, Stay left on the road
  • U Turn before Fire Station entrance
  • Left Turn left on All Purpose Trail along Porter Creek
  • Right Turn right onto Wolf Road sidewalk, Stay left on sidewalk
  • Right Turn right on to the school driveway
  • Right Turn onto sidewalk towards football field, Stay Left on sidewalk 
  • Left Turn at Aid Station
  • Right Turn on sidewalk at Bassett Rd.
  • Right Turn on sidewalk at Foote Rd
  • Right Turn right on sidewalk back to Aid Station
  • Left Turn on school driveway
  • Left Turn on sidewalk along Wolf Rd. 
  • Left Turn left onto All Purpose Trail along Porter Creek 
  • Straight on trail past Park Lane
  • Right Turn to Finish Line

Aid station
  • The run course will have an aid station at Bay High School near the football field
  • Participants will be able to utilize this aid station two times
    • At 1.45 Miles
    • At 2.13 MIles
